Hence Ivans Angels Ministries Inc including OUR POWER TO CHOOSE!. An AFTER CARE ADDICTION AND RISK REDUCTION program for those who God has set free from the bonds of addiction but need more, need to be encouraged and loved and pushed to press further. The program itself started as New Beginnings Deliverance Journey where Kevin Jones and Mike Johnson were the facilitators. Once Ivans Angels became a 501c3, New Beginnings fell under the umbrella of Ivans Angels. New Beginnings used the 12 step faith based workbook POWER TO CHOOSE by Mike O'Neil and has used it ever since. Once New Beginnings became a DBA the name was changed to Our Power to Choose.
Ivan spent many years in the streets, running afterhours, doing drugs but after years of hardships gave his life to the Lord. He was fortunate enough and spoke many times about the visions he had about seeing angels. Hence: Ivan's Angels Inc.

MISSION:
To provide HIV/STI prevention education in order to help modify risky behavior through counseling, online Web-based Instructional Technology and networking with other related organizations. We offer psychosocial support to those who are struggling to be free from people places and things. Psychosocial Support (PSS) addresses people's emotional, social, mental, and spiritual needs by helping them cope with stress, trauma, or adversity, building resilience, and connecting them to resources to manage daily life.
VISION:
The community and other communities will be knowlegable and educated on the facts concerning communicable diseases and be able to address issues concerning these preventable disesases without stigma, fear, or hate. Our vision is that no one should be unaware or say "I didn't know". I didn't know is not an option, To address all types of drug abuse with andswers that will help provide the freedom that is needed to successfully succeed in this community.
